I have 0 problems running the forum from an incognito window in chrome.

Even in Chrome incognito mode, using the smiley toolbar still causes the 404 error for me.

It's not a money thing. I started with Tier 1 support for this issue and it's been escalated to Tier 3 support. I think that's the highest we can go. I am waiting on the outcome of their work on this. :(:)

Hang in there, @dUSt! I don't know if it is acceptable to pray for the "healing" of a computer system, but we can certainly pray for you. We don't thank you often enough for all the time you put into this. As I understand it, any money we donate does not in any way pay you for your time, only for the costs of running the system. Thank-you!

I dont think its a smilie issue for me...I have not once used the smilies since this new forum started. Im not even logged in when I get the 404 error. I just tried to access the forum from my normal chrome window but I ran into the 404 again.

@‌dUSt -- Thank-you for restoring the smiley icon to the toolbar. Ideally, at some point in the past, I would have memorized the codes for smilies, or made a printout of the various smilies and their codes. But I didn't.

I'm hoping that, by now, the word has gotten out that, although clicking directly on the smiley can cause a 404 Error for some people, if you hold your cursor over the smiley, you can see its code, and use the code to avoid the 404 Error Screen.

I know you are trying your best to fix issues related to the new software platform. For me, at least, I have no problem using the codes for smilies until the larger issue can be fixed. As always, thanks for all your hard work. :)

I know this is probably the last thing you want to do, but maybe try uninstalling and reinstalling Chrome?

I finally bypassed 404 error and also broken link notification by deleting browsing history in Google - after repeated attempts.

Very cool! I had a 404 Error today about 6:30 am CDT, which came on for no reason I could figure out. No emos and I hadn't even clicked "Send" yet.

Very glad to hear that they are gone now. Thanks SO much!
