Not A Mallard
Now trending: people freaking out over an "extreme huntress" posing next to a dead giraffe. At least she didn't kill a dinosaur!

Mary+Immaculate<3
This=perfect. Hahaha!! I've thought about cliches a lot, because I find that as a writer with thousands of year's worth of literature already forged, it is so frustrating trying to avoid cliches. They're turned into the "cuss words" of writing. It reminds me of Nathaniel Hawthorne's short story "Earth's Holocaust," in which the young writers breathe a sigh of relief when the old literature is burned, because there is such pressure to follow the dictates of "proper literature." Yes, there are types of cliches, phrases, and idioms that really should not go into writing because they sound "cliche." But it is my opinion that when implemented in a clever way or containing a double-meaning, some cliches can be acceptable, if not beneficial. I apologize, I will now publicly shame myself with an emoticon.
