For a friend in extremely dangerous physical condition

When I was little, I knew a boy from church who was one of my brother's and my best friends. We lost contact for a while, and lately learned that he is in the hospital. After an awful chain of events which I will not go into, he had quit school, started working at a tattoo parlor, and started taking drugs. He is in the hospital from drug-overdoses and has had 3 surgeries in the past 3 weeks. They think his kidneys are completely shot and aren't sure if they can do anything more for them. I would be SO grateful if you would pray for him - that he is cured physically and that he doesn't endanger himself again.
