Catlick
Is their church in unity with the Catholic Church? Or with the Orthodox? Or is it kind of independent? Anyway, I used to know a guy whose father is an Egyptian Copt. Even before the Arab 'Spring' they were persecuted and horribly discriminated. Shows that Islam is the religion of the Devil. Selah
They are part of the Oriental Orthodox Church. They differ from the Eastern Orthodox in that they accept three ecumenical councils while the Eastern Orthodox accepts all seven. They are often called "non-chalcedonian" to distingish themselves from the Eastern Orthodox, which is chalcedonian. The Coptic Catholic Church split off of them and is an Eastern/Oriental Catholic Church. They, I am assuming, do accept chalcedon.
