Luigi
This is not particularly humorous, but it's an insight into the life of a particular a Trappist monastery. From New Melleray, November 16 2015: The abbot invited community members to participate in an 'Altar Wine tasting' in anticipation of our next restocking order.Judging criteria included: Appearance/Color, Aroma, Taste and Texture, Aftertaste, and Overall Impression.Rating options were: 5=excellent, 4=good, 3=acceptable, 2=deficient, 1=poor, and 0=objectionable."Monastic Red" came out the "winner" of the three wines tasted.
