New Postulant At Mepkin Trappist Abbey

Mepkin Abbey received a new postulant on Halloween 2014, but they posted that information to their web site only as recently as February 2th, 2015. His name is Robert, but the community already has a Brother Robert, so the new guy is known as Brother Scott (his middle name) - an agreement reached by the abbot, Brother Robert and the  new guy Robert Scott. 

 

In a weird turn of events, Brother Robert the elder died on January 31st, 2015.
