Confession And Eucharist

Just went to Confession. It had been since the summer since I had last been there. Was refusing to go and God finally got his point across and I went. I'm out in California in a bad neighborhood. The Church was nice though in its own unique way. I walk in and it's empty and Father is sitting in the pew in a t shirt with the scarf thing or whatever it's called. Didn't know it was him and I asked where Confession was. He nodded his head and said here. Confused I asked again where Confession was and he did the head thing again and said right here. He heard my Confession in the pew. Real nice older Priest. We talked awhile. He could barely walk and had to use a walker. I decided to take Communion since I was in a state of grace (seems rare when I am so I thought I should take advantage) They offered the wine here and I drank Christ blood. First time I've had a sip of alcohol in 16 months since I'm an alcoholic and in aa. Where I was before they didn't offer the cup for some reason. The events that led up to me going to Confession today were bizarre. A lot of the spiritual stuff that has happened in my life has been bizarre. After expercing this stuff there's no way you could convince me the Holy Spirit isn't interacting in events everyday. Crazy stuff.
