HopefulHeart
Professor R. handed out the course information sheet for Modern British Literature today. In the section on attendance he mentions "swarms of locusts and sudden onsets of debilitating nihilism" as possible excuses for student absences. He also asked us students to think of metaphorical ways in which the class is similar and dissimilar to a Taco Bell. I think I'm going to like this class. :smile3:
Not The Philosopher
One of my Old Testament professors listed under the criteria for an A+ paper something like, "was present at Mount Sinai"

HopefulHeart
So the surname of one of my professors is pronounced "Beester" (not the actual spelling btw). I'm hoping some situation will come up during the semester in which I can say, "Beester is going into beast-mode!" :smile3: Edited February 3, 2015 by HopefulHeart
