Cherie
GO SEAHAWKS! (I'm a Steelers fan, but my aunt-in-law is from Seattle so I'll always root for the Seahawks unless their win would hurt the Steelers.) I don't think Tom Brady is a likable person, but that's just me. I wouldn't put this past them. They've been caught--and have been penalized--for cheating in previous seasons. I don't blame people for being suspicious of them.
Anomaly
Given their history of cheating and pushing the limits if the rules, I'd say it's plausible. A deflated ball is easier to grip throwing and catching. Whether they deflated them below the 12lpsi minimum is another thing. They still would have won. PhuturePriest
The mere fact that someone became pregnant is not a good reason to marry them. Priests tend to advise against such weddings. Tom Brady is awful, as you stated he got that girl in trouble and didn't marry her, instead he married supermodel GISELLE. Maybe I'm from the 50s but I think that is horrid. They broke up before they knew she was pregnant. It's not like she got pregnant and he decided to bail on her.
Oremus Pro Invicem
I think the allegations are weak at best. IMO, someone is using Bill's past against him, which is one of the down falls of having the label of a cheater. If anything is suspicious someone will say, "who's the registered football offender? Oh, it's Bill! Let's look into these allegations, stat!" Regardless of these allegations, I doubt the 47 points made by them is primarily the source of deflated footballs. Ash Wednesday
And who might that be? He is quite attractive. Russell Wilson. He's an absolute sweetheart, and also very open about his Christian faith. After the win last week, he wept and praised God but also gave thanks for his teammates and gave credit to the Packers' effort as well. People might not like the Seahawks (which is funny at this point, because in Seattle they were our loveable losers for decades), but hating Russell is like hating kittens or puppies in my mind. P.S. deflated footballs or not, the Colts didn't have a chance.

I made these for my friends who accuse me of being a bandwagon fan.
Cherie
Yes, I concur that the Patriots would have won anyway, without deflated footballs (possibly) involved. God bless Russell Wilson. He's a good man who has been through the wringer in his personal life.
PhuturePriest
I like the Colts. I actually rooted for them when they went up against the Patriots. However, they really lost their zest and skill when Manning left. You always had the sense that he was the glue holding everything together, and that was proven by how they've performed. Amppax
I am most certainly going to be cheering for the Seahawks. As much as I dislike Pete Carroll (speaking of cheaters), I dislike Belichick even more. I've always disliked the Patriots, and always will. Although I was going to root for the Packers if they made it.

Basilisa Marie
Well, I'm still in a bitter rage about the Packers handing the game to the Seahawks, and the Seahawks seem to attract the most obnoxious and classless people lately (not speaking about you guys - I live in Washington). But I think my distaste for the Patriots outweighs my disdain for Seahawks bandwagoner fans. Possibly. Mostly I'm just going to watch the game for the commercials, or maybe skip it entirely and spend the day helping our youth minister with Confirmation, since the diocese chose Super Bowl Sunday for us. The mere fact that someone became pregnant is not a good reason to marry them. Priests tend to advise against such weddings. Yep! It's grounds for an annulment! But I do wish there was more societal pressure on men to step up and support the children they father.
Basilisa Marie
Oh, and re: the deflated balls... Come on, it's not like it would have made a difference anyway. It's a non-story.

Basilisa Marie
Societal pressure that could, in itself impede his free will in contracting the marriage? :| No, I mean supporting the kids you make and being an active positive influence in their lives, not marrying their mom and calling it good.
