PhuturePriest
Well I should say he was critical of his pontificate, in numerous places he held him up as an example of sanctity. Right now I'm between Out of the Silent Planet and The Four Loves. Have you read them?
Nihil Obstat
That would literally take all of my money. :| It would literally be the best book on Liturgy that you have ever read. :|

I want leisure books. :|

HopefulHeart
Thanks! I'm simply torn because The Four Loves seems like a very informative read. Go with the one you think you'll enjoy more. :) I haven't read The Four Loves, but if it's by Lewis, then it's sure to be good. Out of the Silent Planet is a lot of fun, though. The main character has an adventure on Mars (though Mars is not the silent planet), and he meets various unusual creatures. There is a strong spiritual aspect to the book as well. I read it in only 2 days.
Oremus Pro Invicem
"Heliotropium: Conformity of the the Human Will to the Divine" by Fr. Jeremias Drexelius SJ Now go! Buy it! Live it!

Not The Philosopher
If you want leisure reading, buy something by P.G. Wodehouse.

I don't know what happend with me but when I came back to the faith, leisure books became boring to me and theology books and lives of the saints became way more exciting. The saying "The truth is stranger than fiction" comes to mind. :)
Ancilla Domini
Out of the Silent Planet is really good. I can't help but agree with NTP, though...P.G. Wodehouse is so brilliantly funny.

The saying "The truth is stranger than fiction" comes to mind. :) I like both theology and fiction books, especially when they're interwoven (Like in all of C.S. Lewis' great fiction books). However, All of the books I got for Christmas were theology books, and they are generally pretty intense in their nature and require a lot of focus, whereas fiction books are a lot less of a mental workout.
