Discerning13
So, today I went to my first church service. I went to an Anglican Church because my mom said I should visit different denomination churches to see what's right for me. I had no idea how to sing the hymns or what I should do, but I got through it pretty well. I was so excited and happy to be in the presence of The Lord, it was so wonderful

PhuturePriest
Next time try a Catholic Mass. And the time after that. ;) A Tridentine High Mass is always a great first Mass.
Mary+Immaculate<3
That's good for you :) I also encourage you to try Catholic Mass, and persevere in it. It is good though, to not just take it at face value, know why you want to be Catholic, or if you decide to be Anglican or wherever you end up. Have conviction and grounding in it, don't just be in it for the feelings. Youtube.com/watch?v=9rlLju412Tc This is a video a catholic YouTuber covert made you might be interested in. There is a group of young Catholics our age on YouTube that make videos about the faith called "New Catholic Generation." You should check it out, newcatholicgeneration.com. One more thing, the actual word "catholic" means universal. The Catholic Church is a very diverse institution. There are wide varieties of styles of worship available whilst remaining true to the pope in Rome. Some of the members of Phatmass have suggested the Tridentine Latin Mass, which is something that many people find helpful to thir spiritual life. Others have a more charismatic expression of worship, others prefer a simple English Mass (or whatever their native/spoken language is). Some people are Byzantine, Maronite, or Coptic Catholic. So, if you do decide on Catholicism, know that there is a place for you. PM me with any questions :)
