Hna.Caridad
What's on my mind is: PuellaPaschalis! It's so good to see you on the phorum again! (No, you probably don't know me--I was lurking long before I was a lurker...) Do you happen to still be in touch with VA (VeniteAdoremus)? How's she doing? Is she still in the UK? (I miss the conversations y'all would have in Dutch...) That's what's on my mind...

Oremoose
do you ever wonder what household object you would be turned into in a Beauty and the Beast type situation? I am wondering that right now.

Ancilla Domini
My neck hurts a lot. It may have to do with my slamming the back of my head against the ice really hard, while skating yesterday.
HopefulHeart
Today I'm visiting a college that is high on my list of transfer options. I have an admissions interview there, so I hope it goes well. :)
cartermia
This: "The Pope and Obama are on the same stage in Yankee Stadium in front of a huge crowd. The Pope leans towards President Obama and said, "Do you know that with one little wave of my hand I can make every person in this crowd go wild with joy? This joy will not be a momentary display, but will go deep into their hearts and they'll forever speak of this day and rejoice!" ... Obama replied, "I seriously doubt that! With one little wave of your hand....Show me!" So the Pope backhanded him and knocked him off the stage. And the crowd roared and cheered wildly, and there was happiness throughout the land!" I can't imagine the Pope doing that.

cartermia
Haha yeah but it made me laugh! I turned it in for the "Wall of Awe.some" in English class. (We can bring in something like artwork, a joke, meme, etc and it gets displayed.)
Not A Mallard
My opinion on First Contact keeps changing. It used to be my favorite Star Trek movie (and my favorite science fiction movie in general), and then the second-to-last time I saw it, I was thinking, "Well, it's not really a Star Trek movie, but it's a great popcorn movie!" Then the last time I saw it... "Meh. It's okay, but it's not even that good of a popcorn movie. It feels like an above average made-for-tv science fiction/action movie. Plus, it began the dumbing down of Star Trek before J.J. Abrams touched the franchise." But no matter how I'll feel about it the next time I watch it, Jerry Goldsmith's score is still amazing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mhoa7oWPPhk
