Regarding people in hell... Jesus is grieved about lost souls it seems but He is also happy in Heaven and to me that's a mystery.. In some revelations to Saints He talks about His suffering and us consoling Him like in the Eucharist, and then He also says He is perfectly happy with the Father and in the Eucharist . its a mystery in ways but I remember reading about it in more detail. Heaven is still a perfectly happy place though because of union with God. I think in Heaven we would understand if someone didn't choose to go there that it was a free choice. Of course, I want everyone in Heaven! So does Jesus and Our Lady and the Saints in Heaven! The happiness of Heaven doesn't make us less loving!
