VivaCianciana
Turning to the phamily for some help/prayers. I work in non-profit fundraising and received a fairly substantial Kiva Funds gift card as a gift from my boss. I want to support a Catholic cause but am having difficulty making a decision. So many causes out there and I'm having difficulty discerning. Can anyone point me in the direction of a worthy Catholic cause? AMDG!

Gabriela
Can you give it to a religious community? The Summit Dominicans are desperately raising funds to expand their monastery. They are ridiculously low on space.

You could also donate to the local seminary.
VivaCianciana
Have you tried Catholic Charities for your archdiocese? You could also donate to the local seminary. Great advice. I support CC alternatively. Kiva funds are predominantly overseas and require a group or individual to apply for Kiva funding. I connected with Catholic Kiva so I think I'm on my way. Thanks. Thank you so much for posting this. I'd never heard of them and I think they're an awesome organization. I've favorited their webpage.

I've favorited their webpage. Yeah, check out their YouTube page, every day they have a "Thought of the Day" either from Fr. Greg Boyle (the priest who founded the organization) or one of the staff members. Also, if you have Netflix, there's a documentary about him called "G-Dog". He originally started just driving around the projects on his bicycle, reaching out to his parishioners (and gang members among them), and that gradually evolved into Homeboy Industries.
