Gabriela
I need a book suggestion for a non-Christian nurse working on an oncology floor. He seems to be struggling with depression since he is surrounded all the time by suffering and death. The only ideas I have are Lynch's "The Undertaking: Life Studies from the Dismal Trade" and Lewis' "A Grief Observed". Surely there's something more uplifting that is also honest and deep. I'm looking for something that will help him come to terms with his work in a way that is positive and life-affirming. He needs to be able to see the situation differently. Anyone have a recommendation?
Oremus Pro Invicem
I know you said they're non-Christian, but I still believe this book would be beneficial: "Interior Freedom" by Fr. Jacques Philippe
