Gabriela
Could we make a list of these communities, because it seems there are so few even though lay Catholics have so little time to give to their parishes these days. I'm particularly interested in those that have a good balance between contemplation and service. But I think we should make a list of all of them! Gabriela
Handmaids of the Heart of Jesus http://www.handmaidsoftheheartofjesus.com/charism.html These sisters look really lovely. Has anyone ever visited them? Their come-and-sees cut off at age 30. Anyone know if they allow older candidates?

SophiaMaria
These sisters look really lovely. Has anyone ever visited them? Their come-and-sees cut off at age 30. Anyone know if they allow older candidates? I went to college with several of them before they were an order. They are great women and a good solid community. They are very new so that can always be a challenge as "kinks" are worked out but they v are prayerful Christ centered Women so that shouldn't be a problem. They are worth contacting and visiting.
