IgnatiusofLoyola
A note about the post above. (For whatever reason, probably sheer cussedness, the system decided that my post under my quote was an edit. Oh well.) I wanted to apologize. I woke up in the middle of the night and realized that my "f***" above could be easily misunderstood. The word intended was a coarse word for passing gas, not the other other "f-word." I forgot that I coined this phrase myself to describe the times when I want to think of a name or word and it doesn't come immediately, but other people wouldn't necessarily have heard the phrase. If anyone was offended, I truly apologize. (Note: I'm not aware of anyone complaining, but it made ME upset.) TheresaThoma
Iggy I use the same expression at times. Don't worry too much about it. I got ISFJ (and I took another test just to see, one I had taken before, and it gave me ISFJ). I'm not very strong any of the categories however. This though pretty much describes me "They have a strong sense of responsibility and duty and can be counted on to follow through. They generally avoid conflict and tend to place other people's needs over their own. They look for positive feedback from others and dislike criticism which discourage them. They would need to give themselves the same kindness they have for others." I have been known to stay with something because I committed to it even when it becomes unhealthy for me. Some people think that I swing more extroverted but that is typically because they see me after I have had a chance to recharge. Once I am fully recharged I tend to want to be around people, I enjoy being with people but only when I can withdraw and recharge as needed. I'm also very happy being on my own. I can certainly identify with the above. When I was being trained by a psychologist in counselling, he did a little exercise with the class (wont go into it, a bit lengthy to describe) and the assessment he made after the exercise, and in my case, was that I am a person who does need alone time and is content with my own company - and on the other hand can socialise well and form close relationships. I felt that that was pretty spot on. Much later and in social company, I went off on my own and when I returned, someone commented "You've been recharging your batteries, haven't you?" Benedictus
It said I was an INTJ - this is a bit off my usual result, but not that bad for a short Q&A

PhuturePriest
I call for a moratorium on all myers-briggs personality test threads. Phatmass has been so ridiculously boring in the past two weeks that a personality quiz thread is welcome, even if it has been done to death. Benedictus
Interesting. I've recently been getting ENTJ on tests. Yeah I'm usually INFJ
Aethereus
It's weird that it says i'm an INFJ, when I usually test out as an INTJ.
brandelynmarie
INFP, yep, that's me & 4.4% of the population. We are introverted, intuitive, feeling & perceiving. And it ain't always easy...believe me.

It's not easy walking around knowing you're right and everyone else is wrong, but they're not intelligent enough to realize it. Myers-Briggs indicator tests are far from perfect (especially this particular one), but they are also interesting. As people post their results, I am starting to see patterns. Xanti
It had me as an ESFJ, I think I'm an ENFJ though. In high school i was a staunch ENFP, and I think over the course of the following 6 or 7 years, I became more of a J. I know, exciting stuff.
