PhuturePriest
Because it bothered me, this is a definition of folk music: "Traditional folk music has been defined in several ways: as music transmitted by mouth, as music of the lower classes, and as music with unknown composers. It has been contrasted with commercial and classical styles. One meaning often given is that of old songs, with no known composers; another is music that has been transmitted and evolved by a process of oral transmission or performed by custom over a long period of time." Interesting. But the song posted sounded folk-like, which is what I was getting at.
Amppax
How has this dissolved into an argument about music? Also, Nihil's right. Don't even need to read to know that.

truthfinder
Interesting. But the song posted sounded folk-like, which is what I was getting at. Folk-like is a better description, but the definition itself would indicate an oral tradition whereas the song I posted can be at utmost, no older than 35 years. In that case, you may also classify this as folk:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5QWBLVhql1w

PhuturePriest
Incidentally, 35 years ago is the same time AC/DC released Highway to Hell How is that even possible? I spent four years of my life basically listening to nothing but classic rock and metal and pretending I lived in those years, so the thought that it's been that long since those albums came out is unbelievable to me. Mine didn't have me listen to them, actually. I just found classic rock and metal online and began listening to it like crazy when I was 11 or so, and it just snowballed after that. When I turned 14 I opened my mind and finally conceded that all genres other than classic rock and metal don't suck. :P
