homeschoolmom
we did have a blast last year-- even though we were in three layers and coats all night. (and I was six months pregnant-- why not, I couldn't sleep at home anyway!) I'm just concerned that it will rain the entire time and there won't be anything to do, no fireside chats (is this the Carter thread?), nothing... and then we all get sick. But I really, really want to make it work out. So, to the break shop!!
let_go_let_God
HSM take it from someone in the area. The weather has been a lil on the chilly side due to wind, but otherwise God has been blessing the area with great weather. I understand that yeah the forcast isn't suppost to be too great, but if it is suppost to be crummy, take it as an opportunity for you and your friends to be close. Especally if you all try to be in one tent. *chuckles* You can still have your time together. I mean my dad and I are going out on my uncles houseboat for a few days starting Sunday so the two of us can spend some time together, reguardless of the weather. HSM you should go, it means a lot to you and mostlikely your friends too. My vote, go camping and HSbaby might get to have HSbaby's first adventure . homeschoolmom
we're waiting on the breaks...
Mrs. Bro. Adam
If the brakes get fixed on time, I think you should go, because you want to go. Sometimes we've just to do what we want, and you'll be able to spend time with your family on a mini-vacation, and you can talk to those individuals. Camping will do a soul good. homeschoolmom
Well, the breaks are fixed... but HSDad and kiddos went without us. There are so many little reasons that I didn't want to take the baby... He's got a cough... not comfortable with him sleeping on an air mattress... and most of all, I have echoes of Meryl Streep saying, "The dingo ate my baby!!" running through my head...
