Car Issues

Hey, all.  It's me again asking for prayers.  Sorry I haven't been around much lately.  I'm just SO busy nowadays, but I actually like it that way.

 

Anyway, could you say some prayers about my car trouble?  On the way to work this morning, I stopped at a red light and my car started shaking when it was in idle.  The engine was running really rough.  When I tried to get the car off the road, I barely had any acceleration power but I managed to pull over to a safe place.  I immediately called my insurance company to have the car towed to a service station.  Thankfully, my mom left her car here while she went on a trip so I was able to get to work after all - albeit 90 minutes late.  My bosses kept telling me I didn't have to come in but I did anyway.  My car had a failing ignition switch that is connected to the spark plugs and wires (which I had replaced over a month ago).  I had to have the entire module replaced because it was causing a rapid misfire (thus the loss of acceleration).  It was pricey but it's fixed and at home.  I have to go back to the service station tomorrow to have the part that holds the air filter replaced (it's torn) since that can cause engine exhaust buildup and lead to a loss of fuel economy.

 

Please say some prayers that I won't have car trouble again anytime soon and that these fixes solve the problem.  Thanks!
