Cdl. Burke May Be On The Outs. Reactions?

These are 'just rumours' for now, but those who know what they are talking about all seem to agree that this is essentially going to happen.
I know Burke is well respected by a lot of members around here. I am interested in what all y'all's reactions to this might be.

Small snippet:

The next victim would in fact be the United States cardinal Raymond Leo Burke, who from being prefect of the supreme tribunal of the apostolic signatura would not be promoted - as some are fantasizing in the blogosphere - to the difficult but prestigious see of Chicago, but rather demoted to the pompous - but ecclesiastically very modest - title of “cardinal patron” of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta, replacing the current head, Paolo Sardi, who recently turned 80.

If confirmed, Burke’s exile would be even more drastic than the one inflicted on Cardinal Piacenza, who, transferred from the important congregation for the clergy to the marginal apostolic penitentiary, nevertheless remained in the leadership of a curial dicastery.

With the shakeup on the way, Burke would instead be completely removed from the curia and employed in a purely honorary position without any influence on the governance of the universal Church.

This would be a move that seems to have no precedent.

Ancilla Domini

According to my dad, Burke, Müller, and some others just published a pamphlet attacking Kaspar, and this is Burke's "punishment" so to speak.

This is horrible.

Cardinals Burke, Brandmuller, Muller, and I believe three other notable people, at least one of whom is a cardinal, published a book. Each of them contributed a chapter. It is an orthodox defense of Christian marriage, so naturally that puts it at odds with Kasper's little experiment.

Whether or not it is related to Burke's situation... well, we may never know one way or the other. But we know the facts that we know.

Here, I posted this in a different thread:

We now also know the names of the authors of the book. From Fr. Z:

These are the nine chapters of the book:

Separation, Divorce, Dissolution of the Bond, and Remarriage: Theological and Practical Approaches of the Orthodox Churches - Archbishop Cyril Vasil’, S.J.
Unity and Indissolubility of Marriage: From the Middle Ages to the Council of Trent - Walter Cardinal Brandmüller
Testimony to the Power of Grace: On the Indissolubility of Marriage and the Debate concerning the Civilly Remarried and the Sacraments - Gerhard Ludwig Cardinal Müller
Sacramental Ontology and the Indissolubility of Marriage - Carlo Cardinal Caffarra

These things happen. I like Burke, but honestly, I was surprised he made it this long under Francis without being replaced. I'm not too worried about it.

Don't disagree with your boss in public.

Are you referencing the book? Or his various statements "correcting" Francis? More accurately others interpretations of Francis' words.

I range from meh to wah. I appreciate him but I have no idea how the Church works so I don't know what to call on it, or even if I should make a call. I only learned last year that there were things like cardinals and synods and stuff.  I'm wary of getting my views from internet bloggers, even ones I "trust".
