New Religious Community Approved In Green Bay Diocese

The Missionaries of the Word was formally recognized as a public association of the faithful on May 1. The new superior Mother Catherine, who is a former Missionary of Charity, took her final vows and 2 postulants became novices. They also have 1 postulant and several inquirers.
4-6 month as aspirants, 1 1/2 years as a postulant, 2 years as a novice. The Sisters will be "working with youth in a relational ministry." They describe themselves as a contemplative/active order.

alleluia. The fruits of vatican 2 are surfacing, new orders, a renewal in spirit. Same old car, new paintwork, reconditioned engine, new interior, and perhaps finaly......... a super charger, lol. Amazing grace plenty of space. And more importantly a greater understanding of how to drive better and avoid accidents, a more in depth knowledge and understanding of gods love and his will for man.
