Seven77 Posted August 22, 2014 Share Posted August 22, 2014 (edited) I think the challenge can be done, provided that videos encourage donors to ask that their donations not go towards ESR but towards ASR, evangelizing in the process. Withholding wasting water in the videos would also send a positive message. Catholics need to creatively build up the culture from the inside out. DemonSlayer Posted August 25, 2014 Share Posted August 25, 2014 It's unfortunate that most well known non-Catholic charities has practices that conflict with Catholic teaching (mainly contraception and embryonic stem cell research), because they are so well known, Catholics will donate to them without knowing or wanting to know about these practices. I wish that there was a way to let Catholics know about them in an effective and non-divisive way. I've already seen Catholics post their videos online with a link to ALSA's website, not sure if telling them why they shouldn't donate to ALSA would go down well (or they may just not understand it)...
