A few months ago, I asked for prayers for my dad, as he was fighting stage IV colon cancer. Just wanted to give you all an update. He passed away last month, on July 16th, in a Hospice care facility after fighting the cancer for 16 months. My mom, brother, and I were with him, and he was peaceful. He was baptized, received Jesus in the Eucharist, and had his marriage with my mom convalidated two days before he passed, and he received the anointing of the sick the day before. We miss him terribly, but we are comforted knowing that he is no longer in pain or suffering, and we will see him again one day.
