KnightofChrist
Getting rid of both would be fine. America existed without the IRS before it can do so again. The Church and other religious groups had tax exempt status before the anti-free speech rule was created and they could still have it without the rule. The rule exist to suppress the free speech of religion.
Lefebvre
Am I the only one who finds it ironic that this came out on the feast day of Saint Maximilian Kolbe? Nope! :D Honestly, the legitimacy of the tax exempt status should be brought into question. This isn't persecution. Um... why shouldn't churches/The Church be tax exempt? Also, where's my Fulton Sheen quote... There it is!
