Mrs. Bro. Adam
I made a decision to lose weight. My goal is one pound a week, and to eventually lose 61 pounds! I weighed myself this morning, and lo-and-behold, it said I lost a pound! So..hopefully I can keep that pound off, and keep losing more!
Thy Geekdom Come
YAY! Teresa lost a pound! That's a good start! You can do it! If I can lose thirty pounds in a few weeks, you can do it, too!

voiciblanche
That's great, Mrs. Bro! How are you doing this? Excercising more? Eating differently?
Mrs. Bro. Adam
That's great, Mrs. Bro! How are you doing this? Excercising more? Eating differently?
I'm doing Taebo, and eating a lot less. I working on changing my eating habits, less fattening foods, more healthy foods. One or two slices of pizza, instead of an entire half. While it's hard for me to make these changes, I know that in the long run I'll be happy because I made the changes, and I'll be able to fit into my clothes again! voiciblanche
I'm pretty out-of-shape myself. My mum is gonna buy us a treadmill.
Mrs. Bro. Adam
 Go take a stoll in the park, or whatever, make a conscious decision to get up to an hour of 'power' walking, and you'll be amazed at the changes and how much better and more energized you'll feel. It'd be cheaper than a traedmill, and healther because you'll be getting fresh air.
voiciblanche
Yes. However, we live nowhere near a park, and my mum doesn't like twelve-year-olds walking around by themselves... and it's hard to find a jogging partner.

Mrs. Bro. Adam
Ya know, there aws a story about a set of parents who hooked their tv up to a stationary bike, and if anyone wanted to watch tv, then they'd have to power the tv by using the stationary bikes... HomeTeamFamily
good for you for not going after the fad diets (atkins, south beach, etc....) its alot better just to manage the quality of your food than to go drastically changing your diet.....also the exercise is awesome!!!! i wish you all the best luck in the world!!!! Mrs. Bro. Adam
Voici: Ask your mom. Just say, "Mom, I'd love it if we could spend some time together, every day, just you and me. Like we could take awalk around the block, and just talk about what is going on in our lives, and how our days went." Edited June 9, 2004 by Mrs. Bro.
