dUSt
I confess, I have not been to a weekday mass in a long time. At one time in my life (pre-job, pre-wife, pre-kids) I would regularly attend daily mass. It was extremely fulfilling. I have allowed all of the other things in my life to consume my time. No more. I am pledging, right now, right here, to you my pham, that I will make time at least one day a week to attend a weekday mass.Attainable goal. Hopefully this can increase in the future as I adjust. Any of you slackers with me?!?!WE CAN DO IT!!!

chrysostom
Yes, let's. I already went yesterday actually. :) I went to a church I had never been to before in the diocese - I always go to the same church for Sunday Mass so it was nice to explore a little. Nihil Obstat
On Thursday evenings there is a fairly big group of young adults at my parish who all get together for benediction and Mass, and then afterwards we all go out for pizza and beer and stuff. Tons of fun, maybe the highlight of my week. And it makes it very easy to plan at least one weekday Mass into my weekly schedule. Truthfinder comes too. She is lots of fun to hang out with. Evening Mass (not on a Sunday) without a holiday/feast day? Edited August 7, 2014 by Light and Truth
truthfinder
Evening Mass (not on a Sunday) without a holiday/feast day? The parish is OF which the FSSP has had a permanent home at for years. Some days the OF gets the morning Masses, sometimes the EF. And Thursday just happens to be one of those days.

I'm confused (looks up FSSP because it has been a while), but basically, two parish groups in one location that share or just a really really active parish? Either way, it's pretty cool. Either way, it's pretty cool. Well, theoretically, one parish - as one of the FSSP priests is listed as associate pastor - therefore, not just sharing. We've also got a perpetual adoration chapel - which on Thursdays relocates to the main church - thus the benediction as well.

Anastasia13
I will if you will. Ok. At least once a week. One of the prayers.
Ash Wednesday
I go 2-3 days a week because there is a church right down the street from where I work. Except when there's funerals. People have to go and die on us and hog the church. Sheesh. :|
