dUSt
You don't cook avocados weirdo. You turn them into guacamole or slice them up to put in your tacos or on your sammich. 1. Cut in half with sharp knife (chef knife is my fav). 2. Ax the seed with said knife so it sticks into the seed, allowing you to easily remove said seed. 3. With knife, slice up the inside of the avocado before removing it from the skin. 4. Use a big spoon to scoop out the slices. 5. Throw the seed at your wife. 6. Put fresh slices into taco or on your sammich, or skip to step 7. 7. Turn your slices into guacamole (not going to tell you how to do that). marigold
Cut it in half, take out the stone, salt it generously, and eat with a spoon.

AccountDeleted
Many avocado recipes that you'll find in cookbooks and on the Internet include avocado as an ingredient in its raw, unheated form. In the World's Healthiest Foods recipes, we also favor this approach. We simply cannot think of a better way to preserve the health benefits made possible by avocado's unique and delicate fats. If you do plan to use avocado in a recipe that calls for heat, we recommend that you use the lowest possible temperature and least amount of cooking time that will still work with your particular recipe. Our purpose in making this recommendation is to help you minimize damage to avocado's unique fats. We've seen one research study showing that approximately 40 seconds of microwave heating on medium heat is a heating method that doesn't significantly change the fatty acid profile of avocados. Sometimes we like to add avocado to a dish that has been cooked. This is a similar approach to some traditional Mexican recipes. For example, in Mexico they add sliced avocado to chicken soup after it is cooked. The avocado warms and mingles well with the soup but retains its nutritional concentration since it is not cooked. Anastasia13
I have found a couple recipes for avocado bread, one for avocado roti, and for avocado cheese cake, so you can cook avocados. :p That said, we are low on lunch meat and have only a little chips left. The taco leftovers were sadly disposed of before I got to claim them for lunch. The avocados are all soft now. We have two and I an the only one to eat them. I do not want them going to waste. Anastasia13
Dust wants me to have a wife??? Dust doesn't want me to have avocado because I can't rightly have a wife??? I disagree. It is a fitting answer at times, but there must be more to it. If I can make cheesecake candy/brownie fudge things with cheese cake that includes peppermint patties, an avocado, and real mint, y'all can still offer some good suggestions. IcePrincessKRS
There are only a few legitimate methods of preparing avocado. Dust already listed them. All that other stuff is nonsense.

Vincent Vega
Cut in half lengthwise. Take out the pit, throw it in the trash. Take the left half, throw it in the trash. Take the right half and do the same. Preparation complete. Avocados smell of elderberries.
