Daily Rosary Thread

Recommended Posts

I used to pray the rosary every day, but over the past couple of months I've fallen away from that practice. My usual excuses are that I'm tired and busy. Life has been chaotic lately, but I could easily have cut down on computer time in order to make room for my rosary, and I didn't. I want to work it back into my day and I thought it might help to have company. :) If anyone would like to start praying the rosary daily - or if you already do! - feel free to post your rosary intentions, etc. in this thread so that we can pray for one another.

Credo in Deum

Great idea! I have wanted to start my daily rosary again as well. I used to start my day with the joyful, reaffirm my love during lunch with the sorrowful, and end my day with the hope of the resurrection with the glorious. Maybe along with our intentions we can post meditations we've read that have helped us concentrate on the mysteries?

These ones have helped me http://www.rosary-center.org/joyful.htm

They have them for  the other twenty mysteries as well.

Great idea!  I should warn you that I will be really bad at remembering to come back here and post intentions, but I am pretty good about remembering to actually pray the Rosary every day.  I absolutely love spending time with Jesus and Mary through the Rosary and I will do my best to include all of your intentions with my own.

Since I am here now and its on my mind though, I'll go.  Please pray for the ongoing discernment of God's will in my life and that I will have the courage to say YES to whatever He asks.  Over the last 6 months I have had several major, major life changes and I have a couple more in the very near future.  He is definitely asking me to clear some things in my life and follow Him more closely than I ever have before.  I don't know what that all will mean or what it will look like.  I am trying to be open but I tend to struggle with being patient enough for Him to show me what He wants.  I always try to figure it all out on my own and run ahead of Him.  I've done that too many times...I just want to "follow the Lamb wherever He goes"...so I will need a lot of grace to be simple, open, and to trust Him.

Thanks everyone.  I appreciate anyone willing to take on my intentions and will be happy to do the same for you!

Credo in Deum

Right now I'm just starting with one decade and trying to be faithful to reciting one decade every day.  Then with God's grace I will make it further.
