MissyP89
Hi! So I went to an orthopedic surgeon yesterday to get my knee checked out — I posted a while back about getting hurt. He took some X-Rays and aside from the expected muscular abnormalities from my disability, everything looks pretty good. I may have torn cartilage, but considering I'm not in any real pain and can go about my daily life comfortably, there's really no need to investigate further right now. I'm satisfied with that. The main reason I went was to just make sure I wasn't seriously injured. I basically need to be more mindful as I age. This means don't push myself too hard and don't be stupid. Haha. Thank you so much for all the prayers. There is very little research about adults with cerebral palsy out there, so it's unclear how my body will change in the future. For now, I am very mobile and very healthy. :) Gratefully, Missy
