So I recently updated Java and found myself downloading a whole bunch of stuff and one was this Tuvaro thing. Yes I've since cleansed my computer from it (what a time waster that was) but it seems that when Tuvaro arrived all my Chrome bookmarks disappeared. Chrome is perfectly fine now except my bookmarks are still MIA. Is there any way to restore them?

Do you have the same bookmarks in another browser? I know you can import them again if you do. (I periodically backup my bookmarks in a .json file just in case something like this happens. I have a lot of them and I am paranoid because I've lost them before.) I asked my husband, he's doing something right now but he said he'd look into it for me. I'll post again if he comes up with anything.

 

(ETA: I think Chrome needs an html file, not json, but you can save it as either from Firefox.)

You can try this.  You will want to mute the annoying music and watch it in full screen to be able to see what the person is doing.
