He got beaten up last night. We've had a rash of swarming type assaults at our trains stations. He was coming home from a friend's house and got jumped by seven guys. Zach is 6'6" tall and 210lbs, and he was defenceless almost immediately. He was unconscious for a couple of hours.

With a history of head injuries, they aren't taking any chances and are keeping him. His CT scan was clear in the head but he had some air pockets in the neck they are watching. He's in enormous amounts of pain. They left him with clear shoe tread marks on his face and neck. They didn't even rob him. It was all just for fun.

All of his clothing is covered in blood, even his underwear. They even broke his glasses. I had wanted to pick him up, but he wanted to stay longer. I'm feeling very guilty.
