Dad Showing Possible Early Signs Of Dementia

Please pray for my Dad. He is only 58, but he's been extremely forgetful, has been making very odd comments at times, and his social cues are off, as well as some other things. My Mom and I are really worried he could have early-onset Alzheimer's or some other neurological disease. His mother had Alzheimer's, as well as his paternal uncle, so he has it on both sides.

I ask that you pray that somehow my Mom and I, without embarrassing him, can convince him to go see a good neurologist who will diagnose the problem. He is very stubborn, so I'm not sure how that would go. Also, he is against taking medication, so if the doctor prescribes something that would catch whatever-it-is in its tracks, please pray he takes it when prescribed for as long as is necessary.

Basically, I ask that you pray for healing for him, that my Mom and I will find a great neurologist he will agree to see, that the neurologist will run all the right tests and diagnose and treat my Dad correctly, and that my Dad will agree to follow the protocol laid out by the neurologist.

Also, he has a business to run, so please pray he can continue to do that. Not only is it his livelihood, it's his pride, and losing it would crush him.
