blazeingstar
How has Church Militant nomination been done in the past? As in, what's the mechanism? Is it mentioned on a thread somewhere and dUSt just kind of finds it or does someone directly PM him or what? Its a glorious mistery that has been held secret for decads..... ....that or paying off DuST
Nihil Obstat
Existing Church Militants nominate people, and Dust promptly ignores us. ;)
Credo in Deum
Ah, so the trick is to bribe everyone! Ps. While everyone is making suggestions, can I request to have this dancing bacon emoticon added to the emoticon list? It's sizzlin!

KnightofChrist
There have been marriages formed, families created, love found involving the now unprivileged classes on Phatmass. Marriages that came to be due in great part due to pm's. Had this prohibition existed then those families may not exist today, and it will likely help prevent the chances of other like marriages. I hope the reason and benefits behind it out weigh the harm it will probably cause.

The unholy unions which phatmass has aided will not doubt weigh heavy on our souls when we are judged at the gates of Asgard.
Anomaly
No PMs???????? Gosh that's just horrid. I've been stripped of my human right to speak. The United Nations will hear about this.
CatherineM
My only concern is that I often receive questions by pm that people aren't comfortable asking publicly.
cmaD2006
Hmmm ... I wonder if PM to mods/Church Scholars/Phorum Bosses from anyone can be turned on (not saying this that well).

maximillion
There is a solution. Under agers have no pm privilages, these can be given to those of age - say 21+....then the pm's can't be used for nefarious purposes. If someone lies about their age then they have to take the consequences. That, or have a disclaimer/warning in the Banner, like lots of sites do. Anastasia13
Changing your religion to "Catholic" might be a good start. ;) My religion listing was decided by a Phatmass poll that I remember seeing in the Lame board section and in which many Phatmass members who voted selected Oriental Orthodox. It no longer comes up in a google search, and without a search feature here, I am left to suspect has been deleted for being an old listing. I attend an Orthodox church, which fulfills liturgical attendance responsibilities according to some Eastern Catholic pastoral permissions based on Eastern Catholic cannon law.
