chrysostom
From joyful, luminous, sorrowful, glorious, Marian, Josephite, mysteries etc. I love the Visitation especially. The Mother and Son inseparable, the leap of joy and recognition from the representative of the Old Covenant, the inspired salutation that I repeat every night, the invitation to me to let Mother Mary dwell in my own household I also have a soft spot for two mysteries that prepare for the Crucifixion in two different ways - the finding of Jesus at the Temple and the Transfiguration. Of course they are all wonderful.

Luigi
That's like asking "Which of your children is your favorite?" I can't narrow it down.
Spem in alium
The Visitation, the Finding of the Child Jesus, and the Agony in the Garden. Edited July 14, 2014 by Spem in alium
Spem in alium
Oh, and the Presentation too. The Nunc dimittis deeply resonates with me.
AnneLine
Probably especially fond of the Annunciation, Birth of our Lord and Finding in the Temple... but I agree with Luigi!
AnneLine
I'm also partial to 'scriptural rosaries' which weave scripture quotes into the praying of the mysteries. I find that really helps me to keep my mind from wandering as I pray. AND... If anyone is into 'alternative' mysteries, I am very partial to a set called the Beautiful Gate Rosary by Kathleen Gavlas. It is a 'scriptural rosary' book (scripture quotes for each bead) which include the usual Dominican ones AND add several other sets of mysteries that expand upon those mysteries... many of them during the period of the 'hidden' and 'public' life of Jesus. There is a set that focuses on the miracles of Jesus I believe (my book isn't where I am right now....) but my very favorite group in there is the set she called the Mysteries of the Heart of Jesus: The Visit of Nicodemus, The Transfiguration, The Raising of Lazarus, The Anointing at Bethany, and The Triumphal Entry. Credo in Deum
While I love them all, the one I feel most drawn to at this time in my life is the Carrying of the Cross to Calvary. When I signed up for the Living Rosary, I smiled when I found out it was the decade they assigned me. God is good. :amen: http://youtu.be/Ww-aOIQKMIc Edited July 14, 2014 by Credo in Deum
Ash Wednesday
Probably the carrying of the cross, and the nativity because patience and poverty of the spirit are two things I often am in most need of.
corban711
The Assumption is my all time favorite by far....followed closely by the Annunciation. After that, a bunch of different mysteries rotate as being favorites depending on what is going on in my life, how God is speaking to me, etc. One mystery that isn't part of the normal Rosary that I love is "The Sepulchre". I learned this one from the Community of St. John. When they pray the Sorrowful Mysteries they combine the Scourging and the Crowning into one mystery, and add the Tomb after the Crucifixion. After I finally got over the fact that someone was tampering with the traditional mysteries I came to love that one very, very much.
oremus1
A tough question. I like the crowning of thorns. The sorrowful mysteries in general, they are especially edifying. I really like that idea, that's really nice.
