AnneLine
A friend passed this article on to me, and I think the idea behind it is brilliant and thought some of the rest of you might like it as well. (Before someone complains, I wish the author hadn't been dealing with a divorce, but the idea of using the password change as a thing to work on for the month is brilliant. Or one could us a version of the pope's monthly intention... or a spiritual thought.) Oh... and be prepared for some slightly off-color words... why... ???? http://www.huffingtonpost.com/mauricio-estrella/how-a-password-changed-my-life_b_5567161.html?page_version=legacy&view=print&comm_ref=false I could see a lot of good Catholic applications for this idea... brandelynmarie
I use the Latin version of the Litany of Our Blessed Mother as passwords. :)

Credo in Deum
I use the Latin version of the Litany of Our Blessed Mother as passwords. :) I also use certain prayers in some of my passwords. Haha, I use parts of hymns in my passwords too! We are a pious bunch! Looks like I'm in good company because I do the same. :hehe: I also use things like the dates of consecrations I've made to Our Lady, St. Joseph, and other devotions. cmaD2006
I use an acronym of events about to come up as my 90-day passwords. I'm required on some systems to constantly change my password. I also have to have a capital letter, a number, and a symbol.
AnneLine
Yeah. I use addresses (and not my own!) because then I can give myself a password reminder that is VERY easy to understand! :) But I might try this system.... ...and I think there must be a special layer of heqq for the ones who make it necessary for us to have all these crazy passwords.... but that is my own grrrrrrrr. PhuturePriest
My passwords have always reliably been Popes. I'm pretty much a bleeding Papist. Speaking of being a bleeding Papist, the Vatican needs its own football (futbol) team. Anyone with me? They could use Swiss Guards and clergy as the players, and they can have yellow and blue uniforms. Edited July 12, 2014 by FuturePriest387
AnneLine
Interesting idea... I'd be willing to bet those Swiss Guards would be pretty good at games..... If you're using popes, or Latin phrases or anything like that, be sure to add at least one number and one symbol. Or so I have been told... and CMAD2006 kind of confirmed that in her reply.... CMaAD2006 (or one of the other techy-people) can you confirm this and explain why.... know my webmaster was adamant about it -- I think because it makes it difficult for people to figure out the code....
