Spiritual Direction Dilemma

I need a little bit of advice and do not know where else to seek it. For  about 6 years I had a spiritual director  from a non-local parish… as I am physically disabled he thought it would be easier for him to visit me at home. While he readily helped me out, he was very busy because he was and is the only priest at the parish. I arranged for a session but had to cancel. Father's secretary said that she would call to reschedule--- but she never did, and I never bothered to call back, thinking perhaps that he is just very busy. Let's call him Fr. A Some time went by and I found a more local priest to give spiritual direction. That went well but that priest (Fr. B) was reassigned.  Now,  another priest (Fr. C) volunteered to give spiritual direction but he said that i should pray about Fr. A being my spiritual direction. I must admit that it was something that I did not expect and it threw me in a loop.  After praying to the Sacred Heart I still have no clear answer. I'm not sure what to do at this point.

It depends on what you want and what is a good fit for you. I would contact Fr A and find out how he is and say that Fr C is willing to help if Fr A is still very busy. That will clarify things I should think
