Spem in alium
A shamefully low 5 miles... :paperbag: I can now only speak in whispers so no weekend jaunts for me.
Anastasia13
can I count an exercise bike mileage?
AnneLine
Hey, L&T! Glad to see you stopping with us. You're welcome to join us if you want to! Yes, we take any kind of mileage -- foot, motorized scooter, bicycle, volleyball! Basic rule is this: you can wear a pedometer, if one wants. If you don't wear a pedometer, let us know so we will give you a 10 mile per week 'breathing' credit - that approximates wearing the pedometer. Then you can count 15 mins of any kind of exercise=1mile. (Frankly I guess you can count bike miles as bike miles, i dunno....) While we are in the western and central USA, probably all the miles we can get will be appreciated! You may want to slow down the count when we get to the East Coast or we may miss large cities! Most people report their mileage after midnight on Saturday; but really you can do it any time. I'm trying to get our weekly mileage up at mid-week.... If you check earlier in the thread you'll see where we have planned to walk, and be able to get 'caught up' with us. My MIL is still with us... looks like I will have a day home today, so I'll try to get another installment or 2 up... .:) If anyone would like to 'sponsor' a location coming in the future, just let me know... it's pretty easy to do the map and find interesting places to visit.... :) Have a good day, everyone!!!!! BG45
Basic 10 (sorry to not be around) and then given the amount of time spent walking/running around campus trying to fix things that shouldn't need fixed to begin with...going to claim another 10. So 20? :)

Spem in alium
That chapel looks amazing! No walking for me today (still can't talk, and it's been raining for at least six hours straight). Hopefully tomorrow or Wednesday I'll be back on my feet.
AnneLine
You (and anyone else without a pedometer) also get the 10 miles 'breathing' credit. You don't need to talk to breathe. Heavy-duty sinus attacks still count for breathing miles. :)

I'm pretty sure I have laryngitis (it looks like my sister has kindly shared hers with me), so it may be a few days yet.
