Yo I like your avatar.

I barely have any Catholic books in my house yet!  Just the Catechism, the Bible, some St. Augustine, St. Anselm, a book of novenas, and...well that's it.  Even my Bible is just my old Protestant one with the deuterocanonicals ripped out.  I've done all my Catholic spiritual reading online.

So - I'm going to buy a copy of The Way tomorrow!

(I had no idea converting was going to be this...expensive! )

YES, that's an excellent investment! I love everything written by St. Josemaria Escriva!

"O Holy Mary, my Lady, into your blessed trust and safe keeping and into the depths of your mercy, I commend my soul and body this day, every day of my life, and at the hour of my death. To you I entrust all my hopes and consolations, all my trials and miseries, my life and the end of my life. By your most holy intercession and by your merits, may all my actions be directed and disposed according to your will and the Will of your divine Son. Amen."--St. Aloysius

I'm all for the peace and love, but where are the mung beans?mungbeans.jpg

I thought those were peas at first, waiting to be thrown in the blender.  I was getting all set to visualize whirled peas. :)
