cmaD2006
My cat ... woke me up at 8:26. So ... I rolled over, and waited for the alarm to ring at 8:30. 10:04 come around, and my body naturally awakes. Grrrrrr..... ah well, at least work knew I would be in later than normal today.

marigold
My cat was a very handsome boy and I am hoping to use him as my avatar once I can find out how to do that. Max, if you can upload a photo to your computer then it's very simple. Click on your where it says 'maxi million' in the top right-hand corner, then click on My Profile. When you're on your profile, there's a red button top right, Edit My Profile. The first option will be Change My Photo. Upload the photo there. Hope that's what you meant? It will take you to your profile page, where on the top left corner of your avatar you will see it say "change". Once you select that it will take you to the avatar options which will allow you to upload a picture from your computer or web url.

cmaD2006
Got another cat story. So ... my cat has this habit. I go to the bathroom. She follows me in, and she thinks "time to imitate mommy" and goes as well. It's pretty uncanning. Well ... today ... um ... she missed. Her back part was too close to the edge of the kitty litter pan. It was funny watching her try to cover her mess ... because it was OUTSIDE the pan. No way to cover that with kitty litter, hun (unless you improve your aim). Uy. Yucky. Smelly. Wished she wasn't doing liquids and was doing solids ... would have been easier to clean up. She managed to get the wall too. Thank God I had some Nature's Miracle (because of taking care of my sister's dog during Christmas, who is almost completely deaf and blind, and is not well potty trained). maximillion
My cat very occasionally 'went' outside the box too........by mistake of course. If it weren't for the smell it would have been quite comical watching him trying to cover it over. When he came to me from the rescue he had been a street cat, and we wondered how he would cope with being indoors. For almost two and a half days he hung on to everything, untill I got tired of having to be extra vigilant in case he went in a bookcase or something. I picked him up, took him to the tray and plonked him down. He looked down, looked up at me, squatted, and an expression of immense relief flooded over him. It was almost as if he was saying 'oh, that's the system here! From that day he was the cleanest cat ever. He often joined me in the bathroom too! It was almost as if he was saying 'oh, that's the system here! HAHAHAHA!! My cat's litter box was in the tile-floored washer room so cleaning up all the litter she scattered everywhere was easy. If she had been asleep a while she would always take a minute to start moving after waking up so I had that amount of time to hold her like a baby before she wanted down. Of course if she stretched out it was funnier.
maximillion
My cat was a human comfort bag, you could pick him up and hold him at any time for as long as you wanted. He was more likely to object if you stopped holding him! Such a contrast to my previous kitty, who was extremely independent. You got your allocated one hug a day when she chose and that was it! So different in their personalities.
ChristianGirlForever
Makes me miss my bunny. :( She would put her paw on my arm while I crossed myself before praying and get really still and quiet if I were playing Chant or talking about God and such. maximillion
God's creatures all reverence Him........ Might sound awful to some people but I just started meditating again because my cat always came and sat on me for the duration and I missed him so much I couldn't concentrate. It's still hard to concentrate but now I make that my meditation.

ChristianGirlForever
I'm sorry, Maximillion. That's really hard. Have you considered getting a new cat. I know the new kitty wouldn't replace the place the lace your other cat held for you, but it might help.
maximillion
I think I am still grieving, so am not making any hard and fast decisions, but how I miss holding him.
