Selah
Sounds like a grumpy old man when he meows :|

Selah
Noel does that sometimes. Ruined a lot of cables that way xD (I wasn't making that face at the time lol).

Credo in Deum
My cat likes to play with the ribbons in my Bible and Missal. Evil cat!
maximillion
My cat never said Meow. He said 'Irac' and 'Iran'. We thought he might be a spy in disguise, since he went on about them so much.
Credo in Deum
This pretty much captures my cat's attitude towards me.
cmaD2006
My cat will jump up and chase a small ball of paper around like she's a DOG :). And ... she's clingy. If I'm away for a few days (I have automatic feeders and a big automatic water fountain made for a big dog) she will beg for attention, and usually wake me up in the middle of the night the night I return and nudge my hand (her way of saying "pet me pet me"). But ... funny enough she's not a lap cat (wished she was). However she will hang out on the edge of the sofa right above my head, and promptly move to another room if I move. Even the bathroom. maximillion
Yes, mine was a follow me about cat, which is why I now miss him so much. He sat on the recliner above my head, and like yours CMAD would pat my face with his paw when he wanted to be 'fussed'. Went to bed (in my bed of course) when I did, got up when I did, came and sat on a towel in the bathroom while I showered, ate breakfast in the kitchen with me then came to morning prayer and meditation in the prayer corner. When I moved across to the PC table he came too. His fav was to lie on the pull out bit where the keyboard is meant to go, if I moved him off there it was for him to lie on his blanket alongside the monitor. I would have been his willing slave, but he was every inch the gentleman and never demanded anything. He was my comfort and my solace and I miss him very dreadfully. It's only been two weeks since he died.

AnneLine
I miss having a cat myself! I did like this, however....
cmaD2006
Sorry Max for your loss :(. My cat can be mean at times. I have a couple of scratchmarks from this past Friday. You see -- I decided to pack. Cat decided I shouldn't go without her, so she proceeded to pack herself in *my* suitcase. I tried to remove her. Even though I got a bit scratched-up, momma won. CountrySteve21
How do you get a male cat to stop spraying everything?
AnneLine
I know of only one way to get that fixed..... and that is what has to be done. Anyone know differently?
maximillion
No, the snip is it.........they spray to mark their territory and this arises out of the testosterone produced we-all-know-where.......only cure is to snip 'em off. Stops the urine smelling catty. Is an excellent form of contraception, and is usually harmless. Many owners notice their cats become more cuddly and approachable afterwards too. I still talk to my cat every day, just like I did when he was actually here.
