We should just get rid of the American press and stay overseas. I know some people who ONLY read the oversea press. It is so much more intresting. Hehe.
no kidding. after 9/11 reading foreign papers was the only way to find out what was going on right here where we live...because they're watching it as spectators, kinda, and can give a clearer picture
Iacobus
I would listen to Le Show when he read from the Gurdain and the Times. I got hooked on them and check them out online a bit. I loved the insight they provided that the Star wasn't giving me during the Hero Worship of Bush post-9/11. That was the time when I was the most "terrorist" I mean not idolizing Bush, etc. That is a large part of the reason as an Amercian I have almost no respect for the large majority of the American people. popestpiusx
Arnold is no more Catholic than Kerry or Ted Kennedy (ok maybe a little more, but not much). It is also interesting that Cardinal Mahoney does not want to refuse Communion to pro abort pols. He has several of them in his diocese and they all donate a good bit of money. For instance, Arnold paid for the godawful bronze doors on Mahoney's "Cathedral". He is not much better than Gray Davis was.
musturde
he's Catholic and was on the prot channel. He talked about coming to God or something (I can't say anythign cuz I didnt really watch it). He must just be confused.
Ash Wednesday
Considering the fact that he's married to a Kennedy, his politics don't surprise me. Maybe the president's death will get him thinking more about mortality, and following a better example (like Reagan...) One can hope.

Thy Geekdom Come
He is a liberal republican or something like that. I didn't know about his views on gay marraige and abortion though. Nor did I know he was Catholic. LOL!
He's conservative in economic matters (and to debunk a few myths, he DOES have a degree in economics from the University of Wisconsin) and he's extremely liberal in social matters.
