Prayers For Suffering

I would like to humbly offer heart space and prayers for all sentient beings on earth that are suffering - from all sorts of uncertainties and problems in regular life. I would like to pray for the happiness of all beings and that all find that in themeselves, in the Lord, in their faith and personal inner experiences. 

 

I pray, heavenly father and divine creator, that you help all find their peace and places where they feel their soul shine. 

 

I pray for all to feel Your Love. 

 

I pray for all to feel Joy. 

 

I pray for all to feel Peace. 

 

I pray for Divine Intervention in alleviating the imbalance of power in the world - to shift it more to sharing. We have all the resources we need for all to have water, food, shelter and feel a sense of belonging. There is no good reason for this not to be, that I know of at least. 

 

I pray for all the people that want to devote their lives to You completely, but are not sure how. 

 

I pray for all the people, like myself, that are unsure of which Path to You to sign up for. Who have spent time and learning with so many different religions. Who feel misunderstood by judgment from some of your followers, but also deeply, deeply are moved and love Jesus and the Christian tradition, but have not personally been told by You that that is the only Path, therefore do not cast judgment or superiority or feel comfortable joining when it seems that is the prevailing sentiment. 

 

Dear Lord, I give thanks for Pope Francis and his beautiful, groundbreaking ways to reach the hearts of all! To break through dogma and embrace the essence! Return to the truth and lovingly laugh at all else. 

 

Dear Lord, I give thanks for my aunt, a Sister of Mercy, who said to me herself, "All religions are man made" and whose heart you can feel from a mile away. I give so many thanks for the blessing of having her in my family has been. For her being there for me when I was so lost and depressed and for her understanding my spiritual heart and thirst, even if it is not the orthodox variety. 

 

Dear Lord, I humbly deeply deeply pray with tears streaming down my face that You will help me find my place in the world. I want to serve You completely. I want to devote my life to union with You. I need You to help me discern the wheres and the hows. Please, Dear Lord. 

 

In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit,

 

I give honor and thanks and love and praise to all those who have gone before me in seeking and all those who will come after me.
