AveMaria02
Hey everyone. For the past month and two weeks and especially since Saturday, June 7, I have been having a lot of problems with my breathing. I first went to the ER about 4 weeks ago and they said I had a virus and sent me home without doing anything for me. I then went back this past Sunday and again they told me I had a virus but this time they put me on Prednisone to help with my breathing. They also gave me a breathing treatment while I was there. Then I had an appointment with my doctor on Wednesday, June 11 and she told me that I do not have an infection. She told me that I am likely allergic to something now and so she is sending me to an Allergist which is an Allergy Doctor and a Pulmonologist which is a Breathing Doctor. I have to have a Pulmonary Function Test to see how well I breathe soon. In addition, they tested me for Alpha-1 which is a genetic problem which can affect breathing disorders such as Asthma which I have. So anyway, I have been taking Albuterol breathing treatments with my nebulizer every 4 hours and Atrovent with my nebulizer every 12 hours just so that way I can breathe halfway decently. I am tired of the low energy and the chest pain and breathing issues. I would greatly appreciate prayers. I am sincerely hoping that the Allergist and/or Pulmonologist can help me. Oh, I also wanted to mention that before Mass on Sunday I went to Confession and Fr. Ray, my spiritual director, also gave me the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick because of my severe breathing problems. I have been getting a tiny bit better but not much. My breathing is taking forever to get any better.
