Perigrina
It was a while ago, so I might have misremembered. If you are concerned I can double-check with him first. I'm quite careful with the anime I watch, and I would hate to refer anything that I myself would not watch, even by mistake. I am not concerned about being tempted by it, just not sure that I will like it. It is simple enough for me to stop watching if I discover I don't like it. More that there are simply things I would not recommend for anyone because I identify certain elements as being offensive to prudence and decency. Generally not many, but as in all other media such material does exist.

Perigrina
Yesterday I watched one episode of Ouran Host Club and did not like it at all. I watched a few episodes of Naruto and liked it enough to watch more. My teens caught me and were quite disapproving that I was watching dubbed not subbed. :)

Naruto is very good! Still my all time fave. Its basically the story of a boy overcoming expectations and doing what is right in face of all the bad going on. There is a lot more to it but thats the basic idea. If youre really interested in taking the show on, Id suggest finding a filler list online and skipping all the episodes that are not in the manga. I did not realize that such a thing existed but I can see how useful it would be.
CrossCuT
Naruto is the only one I know of that has so much filler but im sure others do as well. Mostly because there are sooo many episides. There are the first ones simply titled as Naruto but then there is the newest ones called Naruto Shippuden where the characters are a little older. Nihil Obstat
I have been rewatching Madoka with Katy. She appreciates the dark stuff. :hehe:
