Fidei Defensor
It is my hope that we can take the symbolism of the color green seriously during this "ordinary" time in the liturgical calendar, and grow in faith and love! I have been striving to pray the rosary every day! Anyone have any suggestions for growth or, if necessary, pruning?
Credo in Deum
I need to strive to pray the rosary more as well. I've also wanted to add another Mass during the week. As for pruning, well there is plenty of that, that needs to be done.
Perigrina
I suggest the Sacrament of Reconciliation. It isn't just for dealing with mortal sins so we can receive Communion. The Sacrament also strengthens us to fight against all the sin in our life.
Dr_Asik
I would like for this saying of Jesus to have more concrete meaning in my life: "‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’ “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’ “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’" http://biblehub.com/niv/matthew/25.htm Edited June 11, 2014 by Dr_Asik
Spem in alium
Lectio divina has really helped me, even if it's just meditating on the Mass readings for the day. I try and do some kind of Scripture reading or spiritual reading most days. Edited June 11, 2014 by Spem in alium
mysisterisalittlesister
I'm trying to be more like a little child. Not that I'm an adult yet, but being child-like, (and not childish), is so important to go to heaven :)
Fidei Defensor
I definitely want to get to confession more frequently — i don't have an excuse, it's offered daily at the local cathedral! I also would like to start doing lectio divina!
