This is a big admission from me because I am an out and out fan of plainchant and it has taken me considerable time to come round to polyphony.

However, Tallis does it for me every time!

Can't beat acapella music of any description though.

I like lots of instruments but none so much as the voice!

Max, do you like "If Ye Love Me"? It's becoming one of my favourites.

YES!!!  We get to sing this is in choir.  Very beautiful.

We also get to do the Byrd 3 and 4 voice Mass setting, and the Thomas de Luis Victoria's Ave Maria Stella Mass setting.

I quite like The Sixteen's Miserere, it has quite a clean sound.

This one is quite nice too.

Oh boy. I think that's the nicest version of "If Ye Love Me" that I've ever heard. And wow, I'd never heard "A New Commandment" - how beautiful.

And you get to do Byrd too. Wooooow!!!!!!!!

Wow. Both pieces are so beautiful and would be amazing to sing! But yes, the Victoria would be difficult.

Also like me some Taize.

And this. Also happens to be from one of my favourite films, so added bonus :)

Love Taize too. A few years back we were in Cluny and I discovered it was about 5 miles from Taize so went over there for the day and joined in the choir. It's a wonderful atmosphere and I think I attended about 7 different services by different Christian denominations.

Unfortunately they only accept under 25's for the residential programme, but you can be a day visitor. I spent three days there in all.

This is a fav.....

Another piece I wanted to share is this one.  We sang this during Christmas.

Oh and there is also the Ave Verum by Philip Stopford which is one of my favorites.
