Luigi
May 28, 2014 ARCHBISHOP SAMPLE TO CONSECRATE THE ARCHDIOCESE OF PORTLAND TO THE IMMACULATE HEART OF OUR LADY OF FATIMA Archbishop Alexander K. Sample has announced that he will consecrate the Archdiocese of Portland to the Immaculate Heart of Our Lady of Fatima on June 28, 2014, the Feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Inspired by Pope Francis, who renewed the consecration of the world to Our Lady of Fatima last October, the archbishop wishes to entrust anew the entire archdiocese to Mary's maternal protection. The consecration will take place at the Cathedral, beginning with Mass at 2:00 p.m. All people of good will are invited. Please make every effort to attend and spread the good word. The new National Pilgrim Virgin Statue of the Immaculate Heart of Our Lady of Fatima, which was blessed by Pope Francis, will be present. I picked this up from the Western Dominican Friars. Thoughts?
