He's just saying it can't go ahead because there hasn't been a documented miracle attributed to Pope Pius XII yet. John XXIII had one, so he was able to fast track him to sainthood and wave the second.

Rightttt

Wait, so you want Francis to canonize Papa Pius XII without an approved miracle?

PS. If we're fast tracking anyone, it should be Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen.  Let's make him the 34th Doctor of the Church while we're at it.

Prayer Asking the Intercession of the Venerable Pope Pius XII

O Jesus, eternal High Priest, Who didst deign to raise Thy faithful servant, Pius XII, to the supreme dignity of Thy Vicar on earth and to grant him the grace to be a fearless defender of the faith, a valiant champion of justice and peace, zealous in proclaiming the glory of Thy most holy Mother, a shining example of charity and all virtues, deign now to grant us, in view of his merits, the graces we ask of Thee; so that, made certain of his efficacious intercession with Thee, we may one day see him raised to the honors of our altars. Amen.

I do tend to think that now the path to being canonized is more political than anything, and more over the actual finances involved to have one become canonized is insane. An until recently I had no idea it cost a penny for the process to even take place.  I tend to look at saints as being a thing of the past, and just a title now for sections of the world to rally around. What is it one or two miracles, and they seem to be on a very personal and small scale, the miracle takes place with one person. An I just don't find that to be so awe inspiring or moving or motivating. Especially when there are tons of other people in dire need or worse of a miracle and sadly for what ever reason God has they don't always get that miracle when they need it, or at all.  Side rant, the spinning sun miracle thing by Mary,

I don't get that either, what in the world is miraculous or beneficial about the sun doing a dance in the sky I mean had they all gotten super powers or heck a cheese sandwhich afterwards from out of no where id be like okay pretty cool. I can buy some fireworks and set em off and be just as amazed if not more so.  I don't doubt it happened, but just seems not that big of deal, especially if one were leaving it up to the government to explain, the first thing would be it was some kind of atmospheric light bending of the ionosphere blah blah blah, like they explain away " ufo sightings '' or the like.  But I mean people miraculous healing from cancer or the like, good for them, it doesn't change the problems I have to face.

And evidently the Vatican has nothing to gain by canonizing anymore people at the moment so hence the delay.  An to think it is because of the lack of a miracle come on, plenty of people are alive and living saints, performing daily miracles, as doctors, single parents, serving the homeless, etc, or by not giving into suicide, where is the piece of paper and seal of approval by the Vatican and the Pope for them to be declared saints.

To crush the Masonic/Jewish/Lizard-man, of course.   You think St. Anthony of Padua was the only hammer of heretics?
