Perigrina
Here is an article about the Saint: http://www.catholic.org/saints/saint.php?saint_id=97 St. Philip is known for his sense of humour, so do or say something funny today in his honour. For any men who are discerning, if you have a strong sense of humour, perhaps you should consider the Oratorians, the congregation which he founded. I have been helped by Oratorians very much throughout my life as a Catholic. In my experience, they still carry on a charism of valuing humour. AveMariaPurissima
And in honor of St. Philip Neri's feastday, enjoy this song "Preferisco il Paradiso" ("I prefer Paradise"), from the movie by the same name about his life. http://youtu.be/9xMdMzsAGEg
Mary's Margaret
Thank-you! My day was beginning to flag; this has perked it (and me) up. Going for a rosary walk, then back to work...smiling.
